The role is responsible for managing the overall operations of the disability health promotion team including the design, implementation and evaluation of health promotion projects, community and professional education, research and advocacy activities, and performance to agreed KPIs.Selection Criteria EssentialTertiary qualifications in health promotion, public health, health education or relevant field with at least 5 years’ experience working in health, education and community services or similar fieldDemonstrated knowledge and experience in development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion programs, including digital health promotion programs and campaignsExperience working with people with disability and a strong understanding of accessibility and inclusivityDemonstrated knowledge of current reproductive and sexual health issues as experienced by people with disabilityExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, written and oral communication skills including community education, consumer engagement, advocacy, partnership development and networkingDemonstrated skills in mentoring, supervision and team leadershipExperience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team across multiple projectsCurrent NSW driver’s licenseDesirableCertificate IV in Training and AssessmentPost graduate qualifications in a relevant areaOther requirementsA Criminal Record Check and Working With Children Check are required prior to commencement in this roleTo ApplyYour application must include a:Resume (CV); andCover letter outlining how your skills and experience meet the selection criteria listed in the position description.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.
