This is a multi-faceted role. In addition to clinical service delivery and clinical training, the role may provide the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and experience in research, telephone referral and information line and professional education.   2. Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in either reproductive and sexual health or perioperative services
  3. Experience working with FPNSW’s defined priority populations - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people, people with disability, culturally and linguistically diverse people 
  4. High level interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  6. Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise electronic medical record systems
  7. Willingness to develop skills in LARC insertion and removal (implant and/or IUD)

Desirable

  1. Post graduate qualification in reproductive and sexual health nursing (RSH CAP or equivalent)
  2. Post graduate qualification in perioperative nursing, adult education, international development or public health
  3. Previous experience in perioperative nursing, clinical instruction, professional education and/or clinical research
  4. Experience in the development or delivery of clinical training packages
  5. Experience in working with people from the LGBTIQ community
  6. Willingness to participate in the international development program, including travel within the Pacific region
