Permanent, Full TimeLocation: Family Planning NSW Metropolitan Clinics (Ashfield, Fairfield, Penrith)Base Salary: $59,948.66 - $86,072.46Gross Salary Package (Base Salary + Superannuation + Leave Loading + Salary Packaging): $69,129 - $96,016All applications must consist of an up-to-date CV and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria.Incomplete applications will not be consideredPosition OverviewThis is a newly created role and will provide the successful candidate with a unique opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and competency across multiple pillars within FPNSW. Pillars include Integrated Health Services, Education and International Program.  Shifts will be rostered across each of the areas.In Integrated Health Services the RN will provide reproductive and sexual health consultations either in person or by telephone. RNs may be scheduled to work in clinic environment, telephone information and referral line or day surgery. All RNs are expected to develop skills in clinical instruction and implant and IUD insertion and removal (as part of their clinical role.In Education Services, the RN will contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of clinical and multidisciplinary courses, workshops and seminars. Content delivery may be ‘face to face’, via webinar or recorded webcast. This is for both Family Planning NSW clinical staff and external course participants.In the International Programme, the RN will support the implementation of international projects, focused on increasing access to quality reproductive and sexual health services in the Pacific region. This is achieved through capacity development of partner organisations to provide high quality family planning services including cervical cancer, contraception and comprehensive sexuality education.It is expected that the Registered Nurse will be required to work some weekends and after-hours as part of course delivery, both in NSW and specified Pacific countries.
