Permanent Full TimeQuality Management and Accreditation Officer PositionAshfield location relocating to Newington About Family Planning NSWFamily Planning NSW (FPNSW) is the leading provider of reproductive and sexual health services in NSW.  As an independent not-for-profit organisation we offer expert clinical care, information and advice for everybody in every family as well as education and training and evidence-based research to support doctors, nurses and other professionals.About the roleThe Quality Management and Accreditation Officer is responsible for development, monitoring and maintaining systems which support the delivery of quality services in accordance with relevant evidence and best practice, and compliance to legislative requirements and standards deployed by licensing and accrediting agencies.This position is also responsible for maintaining the FPNSW accreditation programs and the FPNSW Risk management activities. About you Relevant tertiary qualifications in quality management, risk management, or project managementFamiliarity with the development and implementation of change management strategies within a quality improvement frameworkExcellent communication skills both oral and written with ability to liaise advise and negotiate effectively with key stakeholdersTime management skills with ability to work under pressure maintaining priority of work flowDemonstrated strategic, analytical and problem solving skillsHigh level computer literacy, specifically MS Office applicationsKey Essential skills:Provide leadership in activities related to quality improvement, accreditation, risk management and compliance, in consultation with FPNSW Executives and Senior Staff.Development and implementation of policies, quality standards, accreditation programs, performance indicators and best practice guidelinesQuality improvement across the organisation including: Clinical services, Education and training, Research governance, International development programs and services, Corporate services including Human Resources, Information Technology and Finance.Establish a point of contact between Family Planning NSW and relevant accreditation agencies for the purposes of establishing and maintaining appropriate accreditation programsContribute to the development of relevant policies and procedures and maintain the suite of Family Planning NSW policies and procedures to ensure documents reflect current evidence, are accurate and accessible and align with organisational values and strategic goals.Develop accreditation project plans as appropriateLiaise closely with the Executives and Unit Managers to ensure consistent communication of program goals, objectives, strategies and outcomes.Mandatory requirements:A Criminal Record Check Essential pre-employment checks  Why work for us:We are a leading and continually growing NFP organisation.We offer a friendly, collaborative team and you will have your contribution valued.Opportunities to grow your career with us.Salary Packaging is offered, increasing take home payPackage up to $110,169 (FTE)Family Planning NSW is always on the lookout for talented and passionate individuals to contribute their skills to one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit reproductive and sexual health service organisation.We believe that a diversity of experiences and perspectives will help us build stronger strategies, teams and movements.
