They will maintain high clinical standards and professional nursing practices across the organization in accordance with Family Planning NSW policies, procedures and clinical guidelines. The role requires a high level of clinical reproductive and sexual health knowledge, skills and experience, excellent communication skills and sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. The nurse practitioner provides advanced level reproductive and sexual health nursing care comprising of advanced clinical assessments, planning appropriate management of reproductive and sexual healthcare including diagnostic and screening investigations, initiation of therapeutic interventions including prescribing medications and referrals.  The position is part of a multidisciplinary team.
