This is achieved through capacity building partner organisations to provide high quality family planning services including clinical services, community education, resource development and professional education.The position is part of the International Programme team. The position may be required to travel to Pacific countries as part of project activities which may include after hours and weekend travel (pending travel restrictions).If travel is required: working and living in a developed country is very different from the environment you will experience working in countries in the Pacific, and candidates must be innovative, flexible, adaptable, resilient, and patient.Selection CriteriaEssential (Including Qualifications)Undergraduate degree in international development, public health or related fieldMinimum 3 years’ experience in the health sector in similar rolesDemonstrated, strong project management skills and experienceExperience managing multiple projects with competing demands and demonstrated flexibility in adapting effectively to changeExcellent IT, verbal, and written communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal, negotiating and relationship building skillsAbility to work effectively with others in a cross-cultural environment with awareness and sensitivityAbility to travel in the Pacific regionDesirableRelevant postgraduate qualificationRelevant experience implementing multi-stakeholder international health and/or education projects, particularly in the Pacific regionSkills, knowledge or experience in sexual and reproductive health and rightsSkills or experience in facilitation and delivering trainingExperience coordinating multi-disciplinary teamsOther requirementsA Criminal Record Check and Working With Children Check are required prior to commencement in this roleImmunisation / vaccination requirements apply to this role To Apply:Your application must include a:Resume (CV); andCover letter outlining how your skills and experience meet the selection criteria listed in the position description.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.
